7 Weeks

This has been a great week. My school year is winding down and I'm getting to do a lot of fun activities with my students. On top of that, I'm feeling great. During week 5 and 6 I was on a prescription that unknown to me at the time was making me feel so sick. I assumed my sickness was all a part of this wonderful pregnancy, but since being off of it, I have felt amazing!!! I am so grateful!! Caleb and I are looking forward to spending time with my family this weekend as we celebrate Josh's graduation, Tim's birthday, Jamie's birthday, my birthday, mom and dads anniversary and grandma and grandpas anniversary. What a busy month!

6 Weeks

Well another week is done:) This was a very special week for Caleb and I because we got to see the baby through a sonogram. It was the most precious thing ever! The baby was 5mm long, which for 6 weeks is already a little long----surprise, surprise, it's Caleb's baby! And the heartbeat was 122 BPM which he said was a very strong heartbeat. Thanks so much for your prayers as we continue to trust the Lord each day with this precious baby!

6 Week Sonogram

Caleb and I were blessed to get to see our precious baby at only 6 weeks. We were absolutely AMAZED at the thoughtfulness of our creator as he is stitching this baby together within me. The heartbeat was obvious and STRONG---120 bpm, we are so grateful. This was just the most miraculous experience we have ever had. How foreknowing our Lord must be to know that the first thing that needs to be in place is this precious heartbeat. My due date was also moved up slightly from January 1st to December 25th...Christmas Day! How fun!!! Although I'll be honest, I hope the baby comes a little bit early. I can not say enough good things about the sonogram! And although I am a little bit bias, I believe this baby is adorable already!!!!

5 Weeks

Well here we are at the end of week 5. I feel like we've been keeping this secret forever, but it's only been 2 1/2 weeks. I am feeling even more sick this week from last, but no complaints here. My hormones are high and I'm very excited to feel sick for such a wonderful purpose:)

4 Week Dr. Appointment

On Friday I went to the doctor for my 4 week doctor appointment. She said that everything looked great and my blood levels came back very high! Caleb and I are so grateful for a creative creator who made my body to do this!!!! At the end of 4 weeks I started experiencing some nausea if I wasn't snacking every couple of hours. But now at the end of 5 weeks I'm experiencing full blown morning sickness. I wake up from a dead sleep each morning between 3:30 and 5:00 feeling horribly sick, but through prayer and strong will have kept myself from throwing up. I suppose my fear is that if I start I won't ever STOP! Although the sickness is no fun at all, I am grateful for it. For me this means my body is producing the hormones needed for this precious baby!!!!!
